Motor skills in children with special needs

The subject I am going to talk about is named ' Psicomotricidad en niños con Necesidades Educativas Especiales' and the teacher is Carmen Sabán. The main topic of the subject is how we, as teachers, can improve motor skills in children who have special needs at school. The method we followed during this course was to organize ourselves in groups and read some articles. Next, a debate was held for all the class to join in. After that, we made -in groups again- a brief summary about the class. Although we didn't have to do a final exam - it was only for those students who couldn't go to class every day-, we have had to work on some topics the teacher gave us at the beginning of the term. We had to do two projects - one individually and the second one in groups- about Psychomotor skills and related illnesses. I strongly recommend you to enrol for this subject because I enjoyed it very much and I have also learnt a lot. I believe that this topic could be very useful for us because it is important to know what psycho-motor problems children can have and how we can help them.
